This is an actual trailer that will be played before actual movies in theaters according to Cudi... Also, he said that his album is like an "epic" movie and so that is why he is advertising through a movie trailer as opposed to a more conventional way to advertise a music album (pretty creative idea if you ask me)
PS: I think the quality is suppose to be all shaky and glitchy for an added effect... not positive though

both cudi and lupe are using actual video advertisements for their upcoming albums, something rarely done by most modern artists in hip hop. personally i like the idea, especially because the ads done just sample a few of the hot singles from the album - they are different. they make you think and still leave you guessing as to what the product is that they are trying to sell. i get the feeling that they arent selling just the music, but the experience as well
