If you're scared of something, chances are there is a scientific name for it. I scanned through and found some weird ones listed below.

Alliumphobia Fear of garlic
Apotemnophobia Fear of persons with amputations.
Caligynephobia Fear of beautiful women
Logizomechanophobia Fear of computers.
Peladophobia Fear of bald people.
Pogonophobia Fear of beards.

All the common ones are listed at the site if you want a scientific way to describe your fear of heights, snakes, clowns or sex.
