"Facebook has just announced a new version of its profile called the Timeline at the f8 developer conference. The new layout is meant to be a central location for your stories, apps, and for you to express who you are. Mark Zuckerberg explained it as a way to “share the story of your life on a single page.”

Interesting move. Sounds like it can be pretty customizable and personalized. Cool, new idea in my opinion. I'm not huge into sharing my whole life on Facebook but I'm sure some people could make some cool things with this new app. We shall see.
