Regional Business Development Manager - Canary Wharf

Description: 
The Regional Business Development Manager's primary focus is to own the business development lifecycle to win profitable new contracts within an operationally focused area. In addition to new name clients, this includes organic growth from within the existing client base and renewals of current contracts below a threshold. The role will drive the growth of the private sector at an operational level and demands a high degree of entrepreneurial spirit to drive and convert a pipeline of opportunities. 

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include: 
* Delivery of personal and operational in year growth targets 
* Proactively and quickly establish client relationships to maintain a strong pipeline and win rate 
* Successfully lead a portfolio of bids 
* Compliance with governance processes 
* Ensure CRM system is up to date 
* Lead organic growth and retention of current contracts 
* Interface with central sales team to ensure consistency and visibility 
* Actively maintain a strong knowledge on industry, client, sector and competitor trends 
* Work with a variety of internal, external and sister company sources to research and analyse prospective opportunities, markets and propositions 
* Actively manage the routes to market and identify and attend networking events at a localised level 
* Engage and nurture relationships across the region that will generate new business opportunities 
* Keep all stakeholders informed as opportunities progress through the cycle 
* To ensure client insights/needs are included within our solutions 
* Comply with all governance processes to ensure authority to proceed 
* Ensure all stakeholders are briefed on submissions as they progress 
* Work closely with commercial, operations and finance team to challenge existing and new costs to produce compelling outcomes 
* Lead and support opportunities through to financial and commercial closure with the client 
* Assist in the smooth hand over to mobilisation and operational teams 
* Support central sales opportunities as required 
* Flexibility to support the business as needs arise 

Qualifications: 
* Established network of contacts and opportunities to achieve in year targets 
* Energetic, strong, self-confident and self-disciplined person 
* Results orientated individual who relishes challenges and being around people 
* Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with proven ability to quickly build relationships with new clients 
* Articulate, innovative and challenging mind-set with Strong collaborative style 
* Proven track record of winning TFM, FM or Service deals in Private or similar sector 
* Proven ability to develop and maintain deep pipeline of sales opportunities 
* Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to lead bid solution teams and work under pressure to strict deadlines 
* Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail 
* Confidence to talk with and influence people at all levels 
* Self-motivated; able to work without constant direction and guidance 
* Holds a relevant qualification to the role such as degree level education or equivalent 
* Sound understanding of Strategic, Financial, Risk Analysis & Business Assurance systems
